Come Wednesday, September 30th at 7pm to a virtual coffeehouse event hosted by Rutgers Active Minds and co-sponsored by Rutgers BRAIN, MFA, Rutgers APAMSA, and Verbal Mayhem! The tickets are $5 for attendees. If you are submitting the form as an attendee, please Venmo @Emily-Afifi after you submit the form with your full name. You could find the form for attendance here. When filling the form out, tell them your friends at Rutgers BRAIN sent you!
The theme of this virtual coffeehouse will be on mental health and suicide prevention, especially about the experience of POC with barriers to mental health. You can sign up to perform any form of artistic expression including music, singing, dancing, spoken word, or any other talents you may have through the form by Sunday, September 27th.
The purpose of the event is to create a safe space for students to share their experiences. It will also help us fundraise for programming and donate to suicide prevention organizations to increase accessibility to mental health treatment for POC!
